View Full Version : glucosamine sulphate
had a chat with a few lads at the gym and they recommended this to me as since i injured my wrist a few months back it keeps coming back. They got recommended by a doctor and according to them it worked a treat. Done a bit of research and theres no known side affects so far. Anyone else tried this? Thoughts? going to get some 2moro and see how it goes.

Glucosamine and chondratin - used to help with ostio arthritis and other cartilage based problems
Takes upto 3 months before seeing any results - Its definately a long term thing

holland and barret sells loads of glucosomine sulphate supplements, they aslo do a glucosomine gel so i wonder if you can rub this into the wrist?

Very good stuff, if you add msm to it, it even becomes better. ;)
Take it for sure.
started it last week! not noticed much yet as expect as i know i would need to wait at least a month or so! Just wondering if theres any need to keep on taking it after/if it heals?

I would. I think I read that it needed about 30 days to notice it. ;)

It's a very long term thing. My dad takes it for knee problems and the Vet also suggested my Dog take it for hip problems. Both have been taking it for about 6 months and the problems have not gone away but are gradually getting better.
There is a lot of research which support glucosamine so I think its worth taking but don't expect anything to suddenly get better. The rebuilding of cartilage takes a long time.

Spot on mate. Impressive and I totally agree. Msm might help some too.
Most of those products use glucosamine and chondroitin.
