LOL

A few years ago, i was looking to buy a car and a mate was a lexus dealer, he brought round an LS400, the day before i was going on holiday, i bought the car and spent the whole of the holiday fretting and getting more and more excited about the car, couldnt sleep properly the whole holiday

It was worth waiting for, it was probably the best car i have ever owned (for its purpose) having said that I have a 4x4 now and its one of the best cars i have driven.

:goodluck:

GOOD LUCK WITH IT, its been a while

right then Hardgainer hows the fiesta ST going I'm looking at three cars at the moment and am undecided but one of them is the Ford Focus ST170 is this car any good compared to the other two
Renault Clio 172 Sport
Honda Civic Type R

The Focus ST170 isn't a bad car m8 :) Although the Fiesta is quicker than it :p People have said that they don't like the way you have to get the engine reving quite high to get the performance out of these cars, but thats the way they are designed and do shift when you get them going :)

The Clio 172 has a terrible build quality according to what I have heard from other people who have bought them.

And the Honda, well I love these cars, but they do cost a heck of a lot more than the Fiesta and I don't think the extra money is worth it.

according to the performance figures I've seen the Focus is half a second faster 0-60 and 20 mph faster top end

Anthony

Ford Focus ST170:

0-60 MPH/0-100 KH 8.20 s
Combined fuel consumption 31.04 MPG
Top speed MPH/KH 216 km/h

Ford Fiesta ST:

0-60 MPH/0-100 KH 7.90 s
Combined fuel consumption 38.17 MPG
Top speed MPH/KH 208 km/h

The focus has a slightly higher top end, but when you compare the handling of the fiesta to the focus there is no chance the focus would ever win on a circuit or around the road. (It would just about scrape it in a straight line, just!)
