how bad is it to take a week out iv been trainin since march non stop and trainin really heavy .and my body beens on complete shut down :mad:

I would say its a requirement of a good routine to have rest periods in there to let your body fully recover.
The only thing is, don't let the recovery period sneek its way to getting longer and longer as you dont feel like getting back into it.
A week should give you plenty of time to fully recover and you should hit the gym stronger than you were when you took the break :)

You need to deload properly (typically every 4-8 weeks depending on the type of routine you're on). This is imperative if you want progress.

I just took a week off. The first workout I did when I came back was legs. Big mistake... :down: Luckily, it's chest/ tris day for me today! :p

yea im good mate only took only took 5 days off got stronger now though squating 240 and dead 200 but the down side of taken time off was i lost half a stone

:eek: You must not have eaten a lot! When I took a week off, I gained 4 pounds. Probably from all the pizza and fried chicken though. :whistle:

Personally I think that hardgainer has taken this advice haven't seen him up the gym for a least 2 weeks.

Hey! I have been down there for the last two weeks solid... 4 times a week, but I have been going an hour earlier than normal as my training partner (Paul) was away on hols so I didn't hhave to wait for him to finish work before leaving.

i always take off a week straight after PCT and let myself ajust and tbh i always seem to look bigger after the rest
