View Full Version : Increasing vascularity?

I am not sure if I spelt that right, but want to know how I can go about increasing the definition of veins in my forearms and other areas of the body.

I know its relating to bodyfat, but I dont think I have that high a percentage so am thinking it might be something else to?

When I workout they show up in my shoulders, bicep and forearms but then go again a few hours later.

Any suggestions? Apart from workout all the time :p

My dad's got some wicked rope like viens running down one arm! He has got quite hi BF but he got them when he was fitting carpet all day long for a few years and its from gripping the stanly knife all day.

Also noticed if you get in a fight with him you have to keep away from that arm caus once he locks onto you ya fecked!

I think its a bit of both - low bf and gentics + some hard training. i got non so I must be a puddin boy.

Yeh same as low BF% and genetics, i am not very vascular myself with very little veins.

The first show i competed in i hardly had any until after the show :confused: , the last show i had far now but i was far more leaner with less BF%. At times i wish i had more too but i think it looks alot better.

some gear can definatly help show em up...

mine come out when i'm hot..when i have had alot of simple carbs adn when i'm running gear due to the increase of red blood cells...

EQ is meant to make ur veins crazy!

started to get a few on my quads and i love em!lol

Gear helps for defs...on EQ myself so hopefully i will see some nice ones poping up...lol

Masterbolone will also help

Thanks for the replys guys :)

Going to start doing 2 sessions of cardio a week in between my weight sessions so hopefully will get the bodyfat even lower and start to see them!

I've heard that bodybuilders drink wine, rum or whisky the night before a comp for increased vascularity so this may work but there body fat is very low before a comp and they are practically dehydrated.

Its true in what you say Johnny, the wine is usually to help dry the competitor out, this is usually takin the night before the show, rum, whiskey or brandy back stage is to help the sugars from the dark choclate shoot round the veins and make you more vascular.

I will be trying Pump Tech in the next few days which is supposed to help vascularity, so i will let you know what i think of it ;)

yeah im trying to get me veins out! started to do cardio session after a workout and on the week ends, hopefully get my bf low and ill start to see some, i got some on my traps and shoulder now :) (but i gotta tense so hard i almost pass out! :))n
