i usually get my protein powder (with very low carbs) and also buy a carb powder also so i can adapt it when i feel like, do you think i would be better off with a medium carb protein powder?

Damn, DB is all educated.

I doubt they have this protein in the U.K. but I get a protein with 6 different proteins. One is a very fast acting protein and the last is a slow absorption.
Click here (http://www.wellements.com/prorated.asp). It is called wellement.

well i was using pro peptide religously before and had great results off it butt it can be very expensive, i was going through a tub every 5 days!.Lately ive been using USN Pure Protein its got 5 difffernt blends of protein, whey protein isolate and concentrate, calcium caseinate, egg albumen and soy protein isolate with added vitamins, minerals, amino acids and essential fats.

It also contains 10 grams of glutamine per serving, i been using it for months now and think its exellent :)

OUR PROTEIN:-
We do a blend of four protein sources, designed to offer a time released supply of all 22 amino acids into the blood stream. Extreme Protein is the drink you want to take before bed or during the day at work so you know that when you aren''t able to go and mix up a Whey every couple of hours, you still have amino acids entering your bloodstream.

Like all our products Extreme Protein is ultra low in lactose and sodium and is also easy to drink due to the fact it doesn''t have an overly sweet or chemical taste as some rival products do.

Protein 76.5%

Carbohydrates 5.8%

Fat 4.2%

Fibre 0.4%

Sodium 0.1%

Lactose 0.2%

(Example based on Strawberry flavour and on a 100gr serving.)
